Vancouver Whitecaps goalkeeper David Ousted wins Week 16 Save of the Week honor with PK stop

Vancouver Whitecaps goalkeeper David Ousted made two penalty kick saves on Bradley Wright-Phillips last Saturday night. His first one has earned him Save of the Week honors for Week 16.


The Dane has become one of the top 'keepers in MLS in 2015, and he helped his team to a critical road win against the Red Bulls.


Ousted grabbed 38.62 percent of the vote for his fifth-minute stop, edging Real Salt Lake's Nick Rimando, who collected 30.78 percent. Tally Hall of Orlando City garnered 14.6 percent of the vote, slightly more than two percentage points ahead of former teammate Tyler Deric of the Houston Dynamo. The Red Bulls' own Luis Robles finished in fifth place.
