AT&T MLS Goal of the Week update: Lee Nguyen's upper-90 blast surges into lead

AT&T Goal of the Week: Week 32

The first of Lee Nguyen’s two goals Saturday gave the New England Revolution a 2-1 win over the Houston Dynamo, and it’s also put him on the verge of winning Goal of the Week.

Nguyen’s juke-move and upper-90 blast has garnered more than 43 percent of the vote so far with less than a day of voting remaining.

Lloyd Sam’s slicing run and blast from a tough angle is leading the chase, having secured 20 percent of the vote thus far.

The remaining three nominees are neck-and-neck.

Warren Creavalle’s low volley to finish off a back-heel flick from Jackson has 13 percent. Felipe Martins’ rocket past Joe Bendik has pulled in 12 percent, and Marcelo Sarvas’ opposite-corner bomb has 11 percent of the vote.

There's still plenty of time to make your voice heard. So who do you think deserves to take home Week 32 honors?

Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursdays. For complete coverage of the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week — including an archive of all of this season's nominees and winners — click here.
