MLS WORKS Weekly Highlights 6/7-6/13

The 2014 World Cup is underway with 32 teams competing for the FIFA World Cup Trophy .  On Monday, the United States will challenge Ghana in their first match in Brazil.  Closer to home, D.C. United moved into first place in the Eastern Conference after Luis Silva scored a hat-trick in the first half of their match against the Montreal Impact on Wednesday.   With no MLS play for two weeks, be sure and tune in as the Stars and Stripes attempt to shock the world and advance out of the “Group of Death”.  Before we cheer on our MLS players and the rest of team USA, take a look at how our clubs made a difference this week.
