Houston Dynamo star Boniek Garcia, who was named to the Catrachos' preliminary roster and is expected to be one of their bright lights in Brazil, was subbed off in the 19th minute of Saturday night's home match against the LA Galaxy.
There was no immediate word on the details of the injury, but the TV broadcast showed Boniek on the Dynamo with his right knee wrapped in ice.
