LA Galaxy players featured in an episode of "The Bachelor"

Juan Pablo Galavis, star of the current season of The Bachelor and former professional soccer player in the United States and Venezuela, wants back in the game.

More specifially, he wants one soon-to-be Major League Soccer team to give him that opportunity. After he finds the love of his life on national television, of course.

Well, this week's "date" (with 10 women, of course) was a soccer outing at StubHub Center, home of the LA Galaxy. Galavis put the ladies through the paces a bit, but we didn't get a chance to see what any curious soccer fan wants to know:

Can the 32-year-old still play?

However, after watching this week's show highlights, we now know that Sharleen knows how to use various body parts and limbs to block shots fired from close range. So, MLS teams, if you ever find yourself in need of a league pool goalkeeper, hit her up.

If you're thinking at this point of questioning Juan Pablo's love for soccer, Chris Harrison, host of The Bachelor, explains just how crazy the American-born Venezuelan is for the game:

"The group date this week was all about Juan Pablo’s love of the beautiful game. The entire crew drove down to the LA Galaxy stadium in Carson for an awesome day.

"Juan Pablo got to scrimmage with a few of the [LA Galaxy] players for a while before the girls arrived. Not sure if this says something about him, but that’s honestly what he talked about the most when he told me about the date later that week."

We know you have the love for the game, Juan Pablo. Now come out from behind that editing room facade you're hiding behind and show us what you've got on the field.
