After the Benny Feilhaber saga played out Tuesday evening with the New England Revolution claiming the player in the allocation rankings, many may have thought the drama was over.
Think again.
Turns out there is another team seeking to make a move for him. The Houston Chronicle reports there is interest from the Dynamo in crafting a trade for Feilhaber.
The addition of Feilhaber would not be a bad thing for a team that is currently having its depth tested by a full-blown injury crisis.
In the meantime, all eyes will be on tonight’s CONCACAF Champions League final clash between Real Salt Lake and Monterrey at the Estadio Tecnológico in Mexico (10 pm ET, Fox Soccer and TeleFutura), where the game plan for RSL is pretty simple: Win individual battles, keep possession for as long as possible, don’t give the ball away cheaply and prevent the Mexicans from breaking in transition.
