U.S. head coach Bradley names roster

Landon Donovan is one of three MLS players on the U.S. national roster including Brad Guzan and Ricardo Clark.

Freddy Adu, Dominic Cervi, Michael Orozco and Jonathan Spector - were part of the under-23 team that helped the U.S book a ticket to Beijing by reaching the finals of the CONCACAF Qualifying tournament in March.

Among those chosen for Fabio Capello's England squad is Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham, who could play his first home match since becoming the fifth player in England history to earn 100 caps, accomplishing the feat in a 1-0 loss to France on March 26 in Paris.

Capello called a 31-man roster into camp, including four from newly-crowned Premier League Champions Manchester United in Wes Brown, Rio Ferdinand, Owen Hargreaves, and Wayne Rooney and five others, Wayne Bridge, Ashley Cole, Joe Cole, Frank Lampard and John Terry, who will play for Champions League finalist Chelsea Wednesday in Russia.

The last meeting between the two in England was on Sept. 7, 1994, with the hosts coming away with a 2-0 victory. The last time the two teams met was on May 28, 2005, as a Kieran Richardson brace negated Dempsey's first international goal in a 2-1 victory in front of 47,637 at Soldier Field in Chicago.
