United single-game tickets on-sale

WASHINGTON, D.C. - D.C. United announced today that single-game tickets for United home matches at RFK Stadium through Oct. 26 are now on sale. Single-game tickets begin at $20 for seating in the Spectator section, are $28 at the Premium level, $35 at the VIP level, and are available at the Mezzanine level for $50.


"With the season quickly approaching, tickets to D.C. United games are, more than ever, at a premium," said United Executive Vice President Stephen Zack. "Our great supporters create an atmosphere at RFK Stadium that is second to none. We're looking forward to sharing many great moments with them in 2008."


Individual game tickets are available at all TicketMaster outlets, by calling in the District at (202) 397-SEAT, in Northern Virginia (202)-573-SEAT, in Baltimore at (410)-547-SEAT or outside the metro area at (800) 551-SEAT and via www.dcunited.com. In addition to individual ticket sales, group tickets are available in the standard seating sections from D.C. United at 202-587-5000 or www.dcunited.com.


The Black-and-Red will face Harbour View FC for CONCACAF Champions' Cup play on March 12 in Jamaica, then March 18 at RFK Stadium. D.C. United's 2008 MLS season begins March 29, when United travels to Kansas City to play the Wizards, and the home opener at RFK will be on April 5, against Toronto FC. The games available now include exciting clashes against Eastern Conference rivals New York Red Bulls, New England Revolution, and Chicago Fire, as well as a home date against current League champion, Houston Dynamo. Individual tickets to United's nationally televised match-up with the Los Angeles Galaxy on June 29 will go on sale at a later date.
