KANSAS CITY WIZARDS 3, COLUMBUS CREW 3

COLUMBUS CREW HEAD COACH SIGI SCHMID

On his team responding to take the lead after going down 2-0:
"It was a good game for the fans, an exciting game. I think in the first half, we had the better of the game, except for those five minutes where we gave up two goals. The first one [goal] was a little unfortunate; the second was a matter of being caught unaware. We did a great job in fighting back and taking a 3-2 lead."

On improvements he would like to see in his defense:
"You're going to absorb some pressure when a team is losing. They're going to try to press the issue. But one of our big things is we didn't step out when we played the ball forward. We didn't step out, we played too deep. That's something that we are going to work on next week."

On his team going down 2-0 early:
"I thought for the first 15-20 minutes, we carried the game, pretty much. I thought we had more of the chances. Then they came down and had the one goal, and then the other goal. Again, it was entertaining for our fans and good for our character to come back."

COLUMBUS CREW DEFENDER DANNY O'ROURKE

On the Crew's struggles early on in games:
"We keep stressing the fact that we need to start strong and not give up early goals, but it seems to always happen and I don't think it's a lack of focus. I don't really know what it is, but we have to stop it in order for us to become that playoff-caliber team that can make a run."

COLUMBUS CREW DEFENDER CHAD MARSHALL

On his goal in the 38th minute to put the Crew ahead:
"I scored against them at their place, so they were kind of watching me. Guillermo [Barros Schelotto] served in a good ball and made a late run. I kind of made it seem like I wasn't going to go and then I ran late and just hit a good ball."

COLUMBUS CREW MIDFIELDER ROBBIE ROGERS P> On his selection to the U.S. Olympic team:
"I'm excited but I don't think it's really hit me yet. I think when I get to China and start training out there; I think that's when I'll get really excited. I really look forward to it; I think we have a great team. I think a lot of people are underestimating us."

KANSAS CITY WIZARDS HEAD COACH CURT ONALFO

On his team's inability to hold on to the early lead:
"Obviously, anytime that you are up on the road, or anywhere, you want to preserve the win. It was disappointing that we didn't. If you look at the goals they scored, they are all off of set pieces. We talked about limiting those and being sharp with them."

On his team's goal output in the match:
"We've talked about trying to score more goals, and again, we can take a positive from there. We had a three-goal game, which is encouraging on the road against what I think is a very good team in Columbus."

KANSAS CITY WIZARDS FORWARD JOSH WOLFF

On the game:
"I think both teams are a little disappointed. We got out to a 2-0 lead, which is exactly what we were trying to do, get on top early. They answered pretty quickly and I think that kind of swung momentum. We gave up three [goals] in the first half, which is a little disappointing, but we fought hard in the second half and deserved at least one goal and to get a point."

KANSAS CITY WIZARDS MIDFIELDER ROGER ESPINOZA

On the Wizards giving up an early two-goal lead:
"I think we have to do better. We were up two [goals] and we get scored on right away. It's tough, but we came into the second half with the mentality that we can score again and we were able to tie the game."
