N.E. announce Reserve schedule

The New England Revolution today released its 12-game MLS Reserve Division schedule. The Revs' reserves will play two matches against each of the other six Eastern Conference members, one match each home and away, to compose their 12-game slate.


The league's 14 reserve squads will compete in a single-table format and will vie for the $20,000 team bonus awarded to the winning team.

In 2007, the Revs' reserves finished tied for second in the MLS Reserve Division, capturing 20 points from a 6-4-2 record.


The Revolution first team opens the 2008 season on Saturday, March 29, when the team hosts the Houston Dynamo at Gillette Stadium in a rematch of MLS Cup 2007. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and Fox Soccer Channel will televise the game live while WRKO 680 AM will carry the game on the radio in the Boston area.
