HOUSTON, TX - The Houston Dynamo has added Taylor Craig, Chibuzo Odenigwe, Cody Lofgren, Rommel Morales, and Tyler Deric to its Player Development System (DPDS).

All players were presented as new members of the DPDS at the Houston Dynamo offices in Downtown Houston. The system now has a total of 21 players since its inception on December 19, 2006.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for us all to grow and develop on a championship team like the Dynamo. Personally, I hope to be able to play for the first team one day, and maybe bring another cup to Houston", said Deric.

Deric, Morales, and Craig will be participating with the DPDS' U-18 team, while Lofgren and Odenigwe will be playing for the U-15 team. Deric and Morales currently play as a goalkeepers for Klein High School and Texans Soccer Club, and MacArthur High School and Houstonians Soccer Club, respectively. Lofgren, on the other hand, plays midfielder for Creekwood Middle School and Texans Soccer Club, while Odenigwe and Craig play as defenders for Travis High School and Sugarland Arsenal, and Cypress Ridge High School and Texans Soccer Club, respectively.

"I still can't believe that I'll be taking part in something so special", said Lofgren. "Now it's just a matter of working hard and doing my best to get to the Dynamo first team, which is a goal that I think we all have."

All players will start participating with the DPDS in February. For more information, or to register, please call the Houston Dynamo at 713-276-7500, or log on to www.houstondynamo.com.
