Chivas USA fell 3-2 to Toronto FC in the closing match of the Texas Pro Soccer Festival on Sunday in Cibolo, Tex. Jeff Cunningham a pair of goals for Toronto FC, while Ante Razov had a hand in both goals for the Red-and-White.
The two teams combined for four goals in the first half hour of the match, as Cunningham opened the scoring for Toronto in the 9th minute. Almost fifteen minutes later, a corner kick from Razov was deflected in by Kiki Musampa, knotting the game at 1-1. Razov then gave Chivas USA the lead four minutes later when his curled free kick sailed over the wall and into the corner of the net.
Danny Dichio tied the game just three minutes later, and Cunningham scored his second goal of the night, and the game winner, after a hand ball in the box gave TFC a penalty kick in the 63rd minute. Chivas USA now returns to Los Angeles to continue preseason preparations in advance of the 2008 season.
