Major League Soccer will once again celebrate the beautiful game with the 2005 MLS Cup Soccer Celebration from 12-2 p.m. CT on Sunday at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas, just prior to the league's championship game between the New England Revolution and the Los Angeles Galaxy.
The event, to be held at the Pizza Hut Park complex's Dr. Pink Field, is designed to be an interactive soccer festival for the whole family, inviting fans to learn more about the game as they enjoy a slew of entertainment options. The event is free and open to the public.
MLS players are expected to appear at the event, which also includes refreshments, music, contests and soccer drills, and several MLS sponsors have joined forces to enhance the Soccer Celebration.
Toolmakers Makita are bringing along their Experience More Tour, a 53-foot vehicle with more than 140 tools and accessories on display, interactive demonstrations and engineering exhibits.
The Panasonic Digital Camera Demo Tent will allow MLS Cup attendees to try out Panasonic digital cameras, shoot all the action they want, and then print out and keep their favorite photo.
The Honda Ultimate Garage will feature several of the company's signature vehicles, including two Honda motorcycles, the Honda Ridgeline truck and the brand-new 2006 Honda Civic.
As well, RadioShack's imprint on the event will feature an ATV course, green screen photo booths, human foosball and an accuracy kick.
