Georgios Tzavellas returned to the Greek Super League in 2013 after helping AS Monaco earn promotion to Ligue 1. The versatile defender can play either centerback or left back.

GREEK NATIONAL TEAM

Tzavellas made his debut with Greece in 2010 and went on to appear in three World Cup qualifiers.

CLUB CAREER

After playing for two Greek teams to start his professional career, Tzavellas joined Eintracht Frankfurt in 2010. He played two seasons with the club before moving on to Monaco. In 2013-14 he made 24 appearances for PAOK in the Greek Super League.
