• Played in three of the Club’s five 2020 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League games – notching an assist in the 3-0 win over León on Feb. 27. 

2019 (Los Angeles Football Club): 

• Started in all 35 appearances, adding four goals and 10 assists across all competitions. 

• Started, played 90 minutes and recorded an assist in the 3-1 Western Conference Final loss to Seattle on Oct. 29. 

• Started and played 90 minutes at midfield during the Club’s first ever MLS Cup Playoff win, a 5-3 victory vs. LA Galaxy on Oct. 24. 

• MLS Team of the Week ten times (Week 1, 2, 4, 8, 13, 14, 21, 22, 30).

2018 (Los Angeles Football Club): 

• Appeared in 25 games, starting 16, with one goal and two assists across all competitions. 

• Made MLS debut in a 4-3 loss at the LA Galaxy on March 1. 

• Made first start in 1-1 draw vs. FC Dallas on May 5. 

• Scored first goal in MLS in 2-0 win vs Minnesota United FC on May 19. 

• Suffered an ankle injury in late June, returned to the pitch on July 26, subbing on in the 70th minute against the LA Galaxy in the 2-2 tie at home. 

• Suffered sprained ankle June 30 vs. Philadelphia Union. Missed four games with injury. 

• Started three of three appearances in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, with an assist for the win in the 90th minute vs. Sacramento FC (USL) in the quarterfinals on July 19. 

• Played 17 minutes in LAFC’s first ever MLS Cup Playoff game against Real Salt Lake on Nov. 1. 

2016-17 (Independiente Medellín, Categoría Primera A, Colombia): 

• Made 44 total appearances across all competitions. 

• Made First-Team debut on April 13, 2016. 

• Categoría Primera A Apertura Championship winner. 

INTERNATIONAL 

• Earned his first call to represent the Colombia U-23 National Team in Aug. 2019, made U-23 debut on Sept. 8, 2019 against Argentina. 

• Captained Colombia’s U-20 team at the South American Championship in 2017, appearing in seven of the nine matches. 

PERSONAL 

• Favorite sport outside of soccer is basketball. 

• Is a great ping pong player. 

• Favorite team outside of soccer is the LA Lakers. 

• Favorite food is tacos. 

• Is an only child. 

• Began learning soccer from grandfather at age four. 

• Grandfather coached him at 5:00 a.m. training sessions as a youth player.
