Despite broken nose, Bobby Shuttleworth helps lead Minnesota to win

Minnesota United FC got a huge win on Sunday, beating Sporting Kansas City 2-0 at TCF Bank Stadium.

One of Minnesota United’s heroes was goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth, who made seven saves on the way to Minnesota’s second shutout of the season against none other than the previous West-leading Sporting KC.

And he did it with a broken nose for part of it.

In a 55th minute clash with forward Dom Dwyer, Shuttleworth came away with a broken nose that needed a lengthy period of treatment, but he stayed in the match and went on to help secure Minnesota's third win of the season.

After the match, the broken nose found it's way on Jerome Thiesson's twitter account.

Hopefully the plastic surgeon can help Shuttleworth out this week.
