Trade Seeking defensive depth for a busy fall schedule, Atlanta acquired two-time MLS Best XI center back Bobby Boswell from D.C. United on Aug. 8, sending a third-round pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft north in return.
Official He's started their last 5 games, and now Anton Walkes is set to stay in Atlanta through the end of 2017. The club announced Tuesday that they had extended the 20-year-old defender's loan spell from Tottenham Hotspur through the end of the season.
Report Peruvian report is claiming that 25-year-old goalkeeper Carlos Caceda is a potential target for Atlanta United. Caceda, who has been capped once by Peru, has registered 78 league appearances with Peruvian club Universitario since 2011. Atlanta currently have three goalkeepers on their roster, and will add a fourth when Brad Guzan officially joins the team at the opening of the secondary transfer window.
