Ahead of Saturday's MLS Cup final between the Columbus Crew and the Seattle Sounders (8:30 pm ET | TV & streaming), MLS WORKS and MLS Cup broadcaster FOX Sports are partnering with Good Sports to donate $25,000 to youth soccer organizations in Columbus and Seattle.

The donation is to aid Good Sports' Restore Play initiative, an effort to deliver needed resources for youth sports programs during the COVID-19 pandemic. The money will go to organizations the Crew and the Sounders picked out in their communities, and those organizations will receive new soccer equipment, footwear and apparel.

"Major League Soccer is dedicated to improving communities where we live and play our games,” said Jan Greenberg-Mirman, MLS Vice President of Social Responsibility. “During this challenging time, the MLS community and our partners at FOX Sports are coming together to give local youth the opportunity to be active and stay mentally and physically fit until organized soccer can resume safely."

The donation is also MLS's way to commemorate the league's 25th season, which concludes with Saturday's final.
