Jackson Yueill nets San Jose Earthquakes winner deep into stoppage time vs LAFC

The San Jose Earthquakes are a club accustomed to scoring improbable late winners.

But their predicament in Week 14 of the 2020 MLS season was a tough one: down 1-0 on the road to a team they had never defeated in their history. And they only had 10 minutes remaining to do it. Plenty of time, right? But for a team that lost its previous two matches 5-0 and 6-1, you can understand why their fans weren't feeling like the Goonie magic would surface on this night.

But it did. And it was Jackson Yueill who applied a backheel flick finish in the 93rd minute to seal the victory.
