Inter Miami's Julian Carranza gets his first MLS goals after multi-million dollar transfer

In only his second start for Inter Miami CF, 20-year-old Julian Carranza showed off the talent that made him a multi-million dollar transfer from Argentina nearly a year ago.

His two goals helped Inter Miami to their first win in club history, a 3-2 triumph over Florida rivals Orlando City on August 22, 2020. Carranza displayed his speed, power and aerial ability on both goals to stake out his club to 1-0 and 2-1 leads.

He was acquired last summer from Banfield for a reported $6 million months before Inter Miami played their first game and he stayed with the Argentine club on loan until the 2020 MLS preseason started in January.

A foot injury kept him out of the first two matches of the MLS regular season, but he made his first start at the MLS is Back Tournament and finally got his first goals in a Miami jersey in his second start.
