MLS Classics Remix: Toronto, Montreal share Canadian Classique madness in 2016 playoffs

The Canadian Classique between Toronto FC and the Montreal Impact has included plenty of historic moments, though none arguably top the Eastern Conference Championship 2nd leg of the Audi 2016 MLS Cup Playoffs.

That’s the latest scene for our MLS Classics: Remix series, as Dominic Oduro, Nick Hagglund and Steven Beitashour join’s Andrew Wiebe for live commentary and analysis.

We don’t want to provide spoilers, so we’ll just say that special November night at BMO Field included seven goals, extra time and plenty of crunching challenges between the Canadian rivals. After two legs, they also combined for 12 goals.

As you settle in to watch Giovinco, Ignacio Piatti, Jozy Altidore and other marquee names from Canadian Classique lore, be sure to check out the lineups below. Also, you view the full catalog of MLS Classics matches.
