MLS Classics: Portland Timbers, Sporting KC deliver thriller with trip to MLS Cup 2018 on the line

The 2018 Western Conference Final was evenly poised after the Portland Timbers and Sporting Kansas City played to a scoreless draw on Nov. 25 at Providence Park. And with a trip to MLS Cup on the line four days later, the two contenders delivered a spectacle reminiscent of their famous "Double Post" clash in 2015.

The game featured just as many twists and turns as its predecessor three years earlier, and even some similarly mind-bending moments (think Sebastian Blanco's long-distance blast). For those reasons, it's now the latest installment in our our MLS Classics series, which you can watch above.
