MLS Classics: Landon Donovan stars in MLS Cup 2003 - San Jose vs. Chicago

Landon Donovan had already won an MLS Cup and participated in the US national team's best World Cup showing in more than a half-century by the time MLS Cup 2003 rolled around.

But he was still a mere 21 years old, very much a star on the rise, when his San Jose Earthquakes faced a Chicago Fire side featuring a young American star of their own, DaMarcus Beasley. What ensued was one of the highest-scoring MLS Cup finals of all time, and one of many signature performances in big moments that set the young Donovan on course to becoming the namesake of the Landon Donovan MLS MVP Award.

Starting at 8 pm ET on Wednesday, you can re-live this MLS Classic as part of MLSsoccer.com's ongoing series of all-time great games.
