Nashville, Atlanta fans join forces to plant 100 trees outside Nissan Stadium

Before Nashville SC played their inaugural match in MLS, the expansion club was busy putting down roots in the city in a very literal way.

Partnering with MLS WORKS and in conjunction with the Cumberland River Project, one of Nashville's leading nonprofit organizations supporting environmental sustainability, Nashville SC and Atlanta United supporters joined forces to plant 100 trees on Davidson Road just east of Nissan Stadium.

The Day of Service is part of MLS WORKS' Greener Goals initiative and the League's commitment to address its greenhouse gas footprint by measuring, reducing and offsetting emissions and raising awareness about environmental issues.
