Black History Month Roundtable: MLS, NWSL stars discuss the Black experience in soccer

In honor of Black History month, MLS players Ike Opara, DaMarcus Beasley and Mason Toye, as well as NWSL and US national team star Jessica McDonald, sit down with Zito Madu to discuss their own journeys through the world of soccer, the Black experience in the sport, and how they're using their own platforms to grow a love for the game and help shape their communities for the better.

MLS, through its social responsibility platform, MLS WORKS, launched Soccer For All in 2018, which signifies that everyone is welcome to MLS, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity, disability, sexual orientation or socioeconomic status. Soccer For All emphasizes the League’s commitment to drive positive social change and end discrimination.
