MLS Preseason 2020: New York Red Bulls get 2nd victory, DC United still winless

The New York Red Bulls picked up their second victory of the preseason with a 3-0 victory over a D.C. United squad that were absent or resting many of the regulars that figure to be in the side's starting XI come opening weekend.

Florian Valot got his second goal of the preseason, and Daniel Royer and Tom Barlow also scored for the Red Bulls, who played their first preseason match a week ago in a 2-1 defeat to Atlanta United.

D.C., which opened the preseason with a 3-1 loss to the Montreal Impact, were missing the USA's Paul Arriola and Bill Hamid, and Costa Rica's Ulises Segura and Joseph Mora to Saturday's international friendly at Dignity Health Sports Park. The Red Bulls had only defender Aaron Long away in that match.
