The Philadelphia Union earned a measure of revenge, and a championship to boot, beating LAFC, 4-1, to capture the Generation adidas Cup U-12 title at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground Sunday afternoon.
The Union finished second in their group to LAFC, which won, 1-0, to open Group D play. But from that defeat, Philadelphia defeated Columbus Crew SC and the Houston Dynamo by the same 2-1 scoreline.
