Christian Pulisic up for PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for November

Christian Pulisic - Chelsea - Close up

It was a jaw-dropping November for Christian Pulisic, who scored six goals in his last seven games across all competitions, including Chelsea’s equalizer in a 2-2 draw against Valencia in the UEFA Champions League Wednesday.

The Professional Footballers’ Association has taken notice of the young US men national team standout’s performances, listing Pulisic as one of six players up for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for the Premier League.

Pulisic has stiff competition for the award. Also nominated are Mexican international Raul Jimenez of Wolves, Leicester City’s Ricardo Pereira, James Maddison and Caglar Soyuncu and Liverpool’s Sadio Mane.

Leicester’s Jamie Vardy had reason to party, capturing the award for October. Liverpool defender Joel Matip won for September and Finnish striker Teemu Pukki from Norwich City took home the season’s first award in August.
