El Trafico lineup news: LAFC dealing with injuries, LA Galaxy unchanged

Walker Zimmerman – LAFC – tight shot

Heading into the hugely anticipated Audi 2019 MLS Cup Playoffs match between LAFC and the LA Galaxy, the host's team sheet is missing a few familiar faces.

Walker Zimmerman, who finished second on the 2019 MLS Defender of the Year ballot and has been recovering from a concussion, is out of the starting XI but is on the bench. Tristan Blackmon starts in his place. Adama Diomande returns to the bench for the first time since September 14, after voluntarily entering into the league’s Substance Abuse and Behavior Health Program over a month ago before being discharged on Friday.

Mark-Anthony Kaye, injured on international duty with Canada, didn't make the squad. Carlos Vela is listed as center forward with Diego Rossi and Brian Rodriguez on the flanks.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy made no changes to the starting XI after their 2-1 win over Minnesota United in Round One. Perry Kitchen starts again, after making his first appearance since August 11th.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Cristian Pavon and Uriel Antuna lead the lines.
