Allianz Field will be buzzing Oct. 20 at 8:30 pm ET when Minnesota United take on the LA Galaxy in their first-ever Audi MLS Cup Playoffs game.

The Loons are the No. 4 seed in the West and are coming off a 1-0 loss to the Seattle Sounders in a Decision Day presented by AT&T clash. Roman Torres scored the lone goal in the 29th minute as the Sounders claimed the West's No. 2 seed, while Minnesota United fell to fourth, but still earned the home game.

The Galaxy closed out the regular season with a pair of losses to teams eliminated from playoff contention, falling 4-2 to the Houston Dynamo at BBVA Stadium on Decision Day. Zlatan Ibrahimovic opened the scoring with his 30th goal of the season and Cristian Pavon made it 2-1 in the 54th minute. But the Galaxy conceded three goals inside the final 30 minutes a week after losing to the Vancouver Whitecaps, 4-3, at home.

This is the first meeting between the Loons and Galaxy since a 0-0 draw at Allianz Field April 24. LA won 3-2 at Dignity Health Sports Complex March 16. The winner heads to Banc of California Stadium to face top-seeded LAFC in the Western Conference Semifinals Oct. 24 at 10:30 pm ET.
