Twelve MLS players featured on 2019 USL 20 Under 20 list

This week USL have been revealing their annual "20 Under 20" list of the top young players in the USL Championship and USL League One this year.


All told, 12 players signed to MLS contracts are on the 2019 list.


Sporting KC'sJaylin Lindsey, playing for Swope Park Rangers, ranked No. 19.

Seattle Sounders forward Alfonso Ocampo-Chavez, playing for Tacoma Defiance, is ranked No. 17.

The newest signing for D.C. United, midfielder Moses Nyeman, is ranked No. 15 while playing for Loudoun United FC.

George Campbell has signed a Homegrown deal for Atlanta United and will be added to the roster for the 2020 season, and the ATLUTD2 player comes in at No. 14, while his club teammate Andrew Carleton clocks in at No. 12.

Philadelphia Union'sMichee Ngalina, featuring for Bethlehem Steel FC, ranks No. 13.

Toronto FC'sNoble Okello, featuring for Toronto FC II, is ranked No. 11.

Union defender Matthew Real, playing for Bethlehem Steel, ranks No. 10.

Sounders midfielder Danny Leyva, at Tacoma Defiance, is listed at No. 8.

FC Dallas forward Ricardo Pepi, who tore up USL League One with North Texas SC, ranks No. 6.

New York Red Bulls/NYRBII forward Mathias Jorgensen finished fifth.

Real Salt Lake/Real Monarchs goalkeeper David Ochoa finished third. Ochoa also was a member of the 2019 U-20 World Cup team.

MLS's version of the list, the 2019 22 Under 22, will be revealed in December.
