Riding a six-match unbeaten streak, albeit with three consecutive draws, Columbus Crew SC look to continue a playoff push when they head to the Bronx Wednesday night to meet an NYCFC side that has lost just once out of 11 games at Yankee Stadium this season.

NYCFC (11-5-8) bounced back from a loss at Atlanta United to defeat FC Cincinnati, 4-1, at Nippert Stadium Saturday night, moving up to third in the Eastern Conference. Taty Castellanos and Heber produced a brace apiece and Sean Johnson made a penalty-kick save as the Cityzens erased an early deficit to sweep the expansion side during the regular season. Heber also scored twice in a 5-2 win at Yankee Stadium in June.

Crew SC (7-14-6) are seven points adrift of the playoff line in the East following a 2-2 draw against Toronto FC Saturday at MAPFRE Stadium. Jonathan Osorio gave the visitors a halftime lead with a 42nd-minute goal, but Pedro Santos equalized three minutes after the restart and David Accam broke the stalemate with the go-ahead goal in the 82nd minute. However, Jozy Altidore headed in the 90th-minute equalizer as Columbus settled for a third consecutive draw.

This is the second meeting this season with the teams playing to a 2-2 draw at MAPFRE June 1. Gyasi Zardes and Santos staked Crew SC with leads before Castellanos and Heber leveled in the second half.
