If 23-year-old Argentina national team veteran Cristian Pavon puts the LA Galaxy back in contention for MLS Cup, few will doubt head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto's value to the club. Pavon excelled while playing for Schelotto at Boca Juniors, and he appeared in all four of Argentina's matches at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
In his playing days, Schelotto firmly etched his name as a Boca Juniors legend by winning 16 trophies over 10 years before coming to MLS and leading Columbus Crew SC to their first MLS Cup title. In January, with the five-time MLS Cup champ Galaxy reeling from two consecutive failures to reach the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, Schelotto took the reins. In this featurette, Schelotto explains his reasons for accepting the Galaxy's challenge, his preferred style of play and his commitment to his new club.
