TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
Barcelona-based daily Sport on Thursday reported that LAFC has beaten Barcelona B to sign 20-year-old Ecuadorian fullback Diego Palacios.
A product of Ecuadoran side Aucas, Palacios made 27 appearances last season for Willem II in the Dutch Eredivisie last season. He also played all seven games for his country in their third-place showing at the 2019 U-20 FIFA World Cup this spring.
As a free agent, LAFC have until Aug. 30 to sign Palacios, who has one full international cap, when he played 46 minutes in a 2018 friendly.
