After winning the two all-time meetings at Toyota Stadium without conceding, FC Dallas will try to make it three consecutive home victories against a red-hot Minnesota United squad Saturday night in Frisco.

FC Dallas (9-9-6) will look to bounce back from a 2-0 loss at Orlando City SC last Saturday. Tesho Akindele punished his former club with the opening goal in the 13th minute and Carlos Ascues secured all three points for the Lions in second-half stoppage time.

The Loons (11-7-5) are unbeaten in their last seven games and moved up to second in the Western Conference with a 1-0 home win over the Portland Timbers Sunday with Ethan Finlay scoring a stoppage-time penalty kick. Minnesota United then topped the Timbers in the U.S. Open Cup semifinals with Mason Toye scoring the decisive goal in the 64th minute to send the Loons to their first final.

This is the second meeting this season, with Toye scoring the lone goal in a 1-0 victory at Allianz Field last month.
