2019 MLS Regular Season - Week 22
Real Salt Lake vs. New York City FC
Rio Tinto Stadium - Sandy
August 3 - 10:00 PM ET
STREAMING: MLS LIVE on ESPN+ in US, on DAZN in Canada
Real Salt Lake look to make it a perfect 3-0-0 at Rio Tinto Stadium Saturday night when they host a New York City FC side that has four road wins this season.
RSL (9-9-4) are just below the playoff line in the Western Conference following a 0-0 draw against FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium, their second consecutive draw against a conference opponent. Marcelo Silva and Corey Baird had quality chances to break the deadlock in each half, but FC Dallas goalkeeper Jesse Gonzalez came up huge with two of his five saves to stymie the visitors.
After consecutive losses that followed a franchise-best 12-match unbeaten streak, NYCFC (9-3-8) made it back-to-back wins, defeating Sporting Kansas City, 3-1, at Yankee Stadium last Friday. Alex Ring had a goal and set up goals by Anton Tinnerholm and Heber to lead the Cityzens, who moved within four points of East-leading Philadelphia.
