2019 MLS Regular Season – Week 20
Seattle Sounders FC vs. Portland Timbers
CenturyLink Field – Seattle
July 21 – 9:30 PM ET

Seattle Sounders FC look to make it three wins in a row and continue their home dominance over the rival Portland Timbers when the Cascadia foes square off again Sunday at CenturyLink Field.

The Sounders (10-5-5) are coming off a 2-1 home win over Atlanta United last Sunday. Raul Ruidiaz scored his first goal since returning from Copa America, a sensational solo effort that put the hosts up in the 58th minute. After Josef Martinez powered home a Pity Martinez corner kick to level in the 65th minute, Harry Shipp struck for the winner, bouncing his header inside the side netting six minutes late.

The Timbers (7-8-4) deserved more from their statistical advantage, but settled for a 1-1 draw with Orlando City SC Thursday night at Providence Park. Despite dominating for much of the first half, the Timbers went into the break down a goal after Santiago Patino scored in the 44th minute. But Jeremy Ebobisse provided the equalizer, and helped Portland extend an unbeaten streak to four matches, in the 82nd minute.
