The New England Revolution look to extend their unbeaten run to six games when they face a Houston Dynamo squad that have lost three of their last four when the teams square off at Gillette Stadium Saturday night.
The Revs (4-8-5) jumped out to a first-half lead, but conceded inside the final six minutes and settled for a 1-1 draw with the Philadelphia Union Wednesday night at home. Brandon Bye scored in the 31st minute when he made a near-post run to connect on a short and quickly-taken Carles Gil corner kick. But Kacper Przybylko leveled in the 84th minute.
The Dynamo (7-5-3) dropped their second straight game since returning from the Gold Cup break, falling to the San Jose Earthquakes 2-0 at Avaya Stadium Wednesday night. Vako scored both goals for the Quakes, who could have added even more if not for the stellar goalkeeping of Joe Willis. Houston have now been outscored 8-1 in four matches without a win.
