With points from seven of their last eight games, the San Jose Earthquakes hope to move above the playoff line in the Western Conference when they host FC Dallas Saturday afternoon at Avaya Stadium.

Riding a red-hot Chris Wondolowski, who has scored all seven of his team's goals over the last three games, San Jose (5-6-3) are unbeaten in three straight following a 1-1 draw at D.C. United Saturday. Wondo tacked onto his MLS record for career goals, scoring his 151st goal to put the visitors in front. But Luciano Acosta leveled for the Black-and-Red in the 68th minute.

FC Dallas (6-6-3) snapped a six-match winless streak with a 2-1 victory over the Seattle Sounders Saturday at home. Own goals five minutes apart by Xavier Arreaga and Brad Smith gave the hosts a two-goal cushion heading into the second half. Raul Ruidiaz sliced the lead in half in the 65th minute, but Dallas wouldn't concede again and picked up three pivotal points.

This is the second, and final, regular-season meeting this season with the sides playing to a scoreless stalemate at Toyota Stadium on April 27.
