For the first time since his stunning departure as New York Red Bulls coach, Mike Petke returns to Red Bull Arena hoping to lead Real Salt Lake to a bounce-back win over the Red Bulls Saturday night.

The Red Bulls (6-5-3) extended an unbeaten streak to four games with a 2-0 win over FC Cincinnati at Nippert Stadium, their third win during that stretch and capping a three-match week with seven points. Kaku and Omir Fernandez, two of Chris Armas' substitutes, scored late in the second half to clinch the Red Bulls' win.

Real Salt Lake (6-7-1) had a three-game winning streak snapped Wednesday night at Stade Saputo, falling to the Montreal Impact, 2-1. After Omar Browne gave the hosts the lead in first-half stoppage time, Saphir Taider converted from the penalty spot to double the hosts lead before Sam Johnson scored in the 84th minute, but a late equalizer would not materialize.
