Atlanta United are looking to end their first losing streak of the 2019 season when they host Minnesota United Wednesday night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Following a 1-0 loss to the 10-man New York Red Bulls, Atlanta (6-5-2) suffered a 2-1 defeat to Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium Friday night. Josef Martinez leveled in the 79th minute, canceling out Sebastian Saucedo’s first-half strike, but Jefferson Savarino provided the late heroics for the hosts with his stoppage-time winner.

Minnesota United (6-4-3) extended their unbeaten streak at Allianz Field to six matches following a 1-0 win over the Houston Dynamo Saturday night. Romain Metanire scored the lone goal in the 20th minute, but his booking at the death means a yellow card accumulation suspension against Atlanta.

The Loons won their only previous match at the Benz, dramatically rallying for the 90th minute equalizer by Christian Ramirez and winning goal by Kevin Molino in the sixth minute of stoppage time in a 3-2 win in Oct. 2017.
