The New York Red Bulls will look for a fourth win in their last five games when they host red-hot Atlanta United, which set an MLS record with five consecutive clean sheets when the Eastern Conference foes square off at Red Bull Arena.
The Red Bulls (4-5-2) heavily rotated their roster following a midweek home defeat to the Montreal Impact and defeated FC Dallas, 3-1, at Toyota Stadium. After Jesus Ferreira canceled out Cristian Casseres' goal, Sean Nealis and Brian White struck for second-half goals to hand FC Dallas their first home loss.
Atlanta (6-3-2) defeated the Vancouver Whitecaps, 1-0, at BC Place Wednesday for their fifth straight shutout win. Josef Martinez scored the lone goal from the penalty spot in the 29th minute, his fifth goal of the season.
