Paxton Pomykal: leading the youth movement at FC Dallas | Audi Player Index

As Matt Busby, former Manchester United manager, once uttered: “If they are good enough, they are old enough.”

Managers in MLS are beginning to adopt the same sentiment and it’s in this vein that we are starting to get a sneak peak at the next generation of MLS talent. Yet as Davies moved on to greener pastures in Germany, one teenager seems particularly poised to take the reins as the next big young talent in MLS — Paxton Pomykal.

Matt Doyle and Bobby Warshaw take a closer look at the 19-year-old Homegrown in different phases of the game, and why his potential has FC Dallas fans so excited.
