New striker Heber makes debut for New York City FC

New York City FC's attack has been lacking so far in 2019, but Dome Torrent's team got a boost on Saturday.

Brazilian striker Heber made his debut for the club in the club's 0-0 draw against the Montreal Impact at Yankee Stadium. Heber entered the match in the 63rd minute, coming on for Jesus Medina.

The attacker was signed on March 21 using Targeted Allocation Money and was able to get three shots off (all blocked) in 27 minutes. The former Rijeka man completed five of his seven passes and completed one dribble.

The Cityzens will look for him to get on the scoresheet when they play Minnesota United FC next Saturday in the first match at Allianz Field (5 pm ET | ESPN2, ESPN Deportes in US; MLS LIVE on DAZN in Canada).
