FC Dallas teen Paxton Pomykal scores first two professional goals

With the hiring of his former academy coach as FC Dallas manager, many expected 19-year-old US Under-20 midfielder Paxton Pomykal to become a fixture in the club’s lineup in 2019.

They were not wrong.

Pomykal has featured in all five MLS matches for his hometown club this season and in Week 5 he scored the first two goals of his professional career in a 4-2 road win at Real Salt Lake.

The midfielder, who is expected to be part of the US Under-20 nations team that will compete for the 2019 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Poland this May, showed off his elite technique on both goals vs. RSL.
