Just how dominant are the New York Red Bulls on home turf of RBA?

Orlando City SC visit Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey on Saturday (7:30 pm ET | TV and streaming info), and you won’t find too many pundits picking the Lions to grab their first victory of the year.

That’s because the narrative has been established across MLS for the better part of a decade: When teams visit the New York Red Bulls, they need to be at or near their best to have any chance of taking points home with them.

RBA has provided one of the most imposing home-field advantages in the league’s history since it opened in 2010, providing RBNY with a sturdy foundation for racking up nine consecutive playoff qualifications and three Supporters’ Shield titles in the past six seasons.

“There's something special in that building that has led this team to win at home, and we've won big at home,” head coach Chris Armas said last year. “There’s something magical about the way the guys feel and what we've done in there, what we've accomplished.”
