Darwin Quintero goes full celly season after PK vs. San Jose Earthquakes

Darwin Quintero – Minnesota United – celebration

Minnesota United FC forward Darwin Quintero has started the 2019 season red-hot, with a goal and assist in Saturday night's 3-0 win at the San Jose Earthquakes serving as his latest accomplishment.

It turns the Colombian is also quite the dancer. Or at least he thinks so.

After smashing a penalty kick past San Jose goalkeeper Daniel Vega, the Designated Player broke out the worm. Or was he a fish out of water? Whatever it was, keep on doing you and celebrating however you please, Darwin.

Signed from Liga MX club Club America last spring, Quintero has been transformative for the Loons. He had 11 goals and 15 assists through 27 games in 2018, offering the special something that Minnesota lacked in years past. On opening weekend, Quintero had a goal and two assists.

The 31-year-old also has a thing for chips. Lots of 'em.
