Team of the Week presented by Audi: Saphir Taider is tidy in Week 1

#MLSisBack, and Week 1 of the 2019 MLS regular season did not disappoint, as reflected in the Team of the Week presented by Audi.

23 teams scored in the opening week, which included a 3-3 thriller played in a blizzard at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, dual comeback wins in Los Angeles, Seattle exerting their dominance on expansion newcomers FC Cincinnati, and D.C. United posting the only shutout.

Audi Player Index Spotlight

This week's spotlight player is Montreal Impact midfielder Saphir Taider, who had a goal and an assist in a cross-continental 2-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes. Taider racked up 1,266 points, best in MLS.

In addition to his goal and assist, Taider also had three key passes, 66 percent of his take-ons won and 62 percent of his passes completed in the opposition's half.
