FC Cincinnati have signed winger Kekuta Manneh from FC St. Gallen of the Swiss Super League on a free transfer, the club announced Wednesday. FC Cincy sent $250,000 in Targeted Allocation Money and $50,000 in General Allocation Money to Columbus Crew SC for his MLS rights. That number could rise a further $50,000 in TAM & $50,000 in GAM if certain incentives are met.

Manneh, 24, featured in MLS for the Vancouver Whitecaps and Crew SC. He had four goals and three assists in 2017, his final in the league, despite playing just under 1,000 minutes. All in all, Manneh has 26 goals and 15 assists in 120 MLS appearances (71 starts).

“We are excited to bring Kekuta to Cincinnati,” FCC head coach Alan Koch said in a statement. “His pace and skill on the ball will add a dynamic element to our group when attacking in the final third. He has had success in MLS and we know he will embrace the unique challenge of joining an expansion team."

After leaving the Crew following the 2017 season, Manneh spent the first half of 2018 with Liga MX's Pachuca before moving to St. Gallen this summer. He failed to nail down regular playing time for either club, with six appearances in Mexico and nine in Switzerland.

Manneh gives Koch another option on the wings, alongside Roland Lamah and Emmanuel Ledesma.
