Minnesota United FC and the Houston Dynamo are set for their first tangle with MLS opposition of the 2019 preseason as they face off in the second game of the Mobile Mini Sun Cup tournament in Arizona.

MNUFC opened the tournament with a scoreless draw against USL Championship side Phoenix Rising FC over the weekend, a performance that head coach Adrian Heath suggested is reflexive of the squad's early, and imperfect, status two weeks into preseason:

Though they just arrived in the desert after starting the preseason on home turf, there's more urgency on the orange side of this matchup. La Naranja are just two weeks away from their first competitive game of the season, the away leg of their Concacaf Champions League clash vs. Guatemalan club CD Guastatoya on Feb. 19.
